Nuclear States in the RaE-Decay

Abstract
It is shown that the -transforming neutron of most probably has an character, despite a character of the ground-state neutron in . This makes a critical difference to the RaE spectrum parameter, , yielding rather than . The effect of configuration mixing is also investigated but does not affect appreciably.
