Pomeron-exchange and exclusive electroproduction of rho-mesons in QCD

Abstract
A Pomeron-exchange model of exclusive electroproduction of rho-mesons is examined using a dressed-quark propagator. It is shown that by representing the photon-rho-Pomeron coupling by a nonperturbative-quark loop, one obtains predictions for rho-meson electroproduction that are in good agreement with experiment. In this approach, a quark-Pomeron form factor is unnecessary.
