A caesium137 gamma ray therapy unit

Abstract
A caesium137 gamma ray therapy unit working at 35 cm S.S.D. and having facilities for arc therapy is described. The dosage data are presented and show that output, percentage depth-doses and isodose curves are comparable with 250 kv roentgen ray apparatus. The potentialities of caesium units are discussed.
