Abstract
A method for calculating the magnetic field of a rectangular conductor of finite cross section is developed. The coil composed of the rectangular conductor may take any shape in a plane except one where a multivalued function is necessary to describe the path of the current. The method given is exact to the point of a one-dimensional integral. This integral is then evaluated numerically. Keywords
