Spins of Certain Short-Lived Cu and Ag Isotopes

Abstract

Spins of several short-lived isotopes of Cu and Ag have been measured by the atomic-beam method. Spin values are as follows: ${\mathrm{Cu}}^{60}$, $I=2\mathrm{}$; ${\mathrm{Cu}}^{61}$, $I=\frac{3}{2}$; 27-minute ${\mathrm{Ag}}^{104}$, $I=2\mathrm{}$; 24-minute ${\mathrm{Ag}}^{106}$, $I=1\mathrm{}$; and $I=2\mathrm{}$ for a 1.2-hr Ag activity, the identity of which is not certain, but which may be attributed to ${\mathrm{Ag}}^{102}$ or ${\mathrm{Ag}}^{104}$.
