Abstract
In vivo, centripetal enamel permeability is reported in the cuspid (in situ) of a cat when about 4 mm. of the tip is dipped into 0.5 cc. of a solution containing 1 mc. of I131 per cc. Significant counts were read from a Geiger counter placed over the thyroid gland in all 8 exptl. animals. Radio-autographs of the teeth and periodontium disclose a diffuse penetration of the I131 through the tooth, periodontal membrane, alveolar bone and gingiva. Keywords
