Abstract
An analysis is made of some possible dislocation reaction resulting from slip on second-order pyramidal planes in zinc. theirrelevance to mechanical properties is briefly discussed.combined pyramimidal and basal alip may lead to the formation of microcracks, and it is suggested that experimental evidence for this may be found in observations made by Bell and Cahn (1958).Keywords
