Propagators for Alternant Hydrocarbon Molecules

Abstract
Green's functions for electron and for particle-hole propagation are calculated for even alternant hydrocarbons. With the use of three parameters, accurate correspondence is achieved between calculated and observed spectra for ethylene, benzene, naphthalene, and anthracene.Keywords
