Abstract
The medium contains 6000 U. of polymyxin B sulfate 100 mg. of acti-dione 25,000 U. of bacitracin, 15,000 U. of circulin, and 1.4 mg. of crystal violet. A description is given for the cultivation of brucella upon this medium. This medium proved to be more effective in inhibiting contaminants than any of several other selective media tested. It compared favorably with commonly used media for the cultivation of Brucella. Keywords
