Abstract
The effects of carbon monoxide on the spectra of some native and denatured haem compounds are compared. Pyridine haemochromogen was used as a model of a denatured haemoprotein reacting with carbon monoxide. The usefulness of carbon monozide as a method of detecting denaturation of haem proteins is discussed. This publication has 10 references indexed in Scilit:
