Energies of Nuclei with Different Proton and Neutron Shells

Abstract
Analysis of energies of nuclei in which protons and neutrons occupy different unfilled shells is made on the basis of the shell model. Good agreement of the calculated and experimental energies is obtained in the s12d32 and the d32f72 regions. Parameters characterizing the nuclear interaction were determined. When these are used in the case of K42 the right spin is obtained for the ground state.
