An Immunochemical Method for Detecting Carcinomatous Secretion from Human Gastric Juice

Abstract

A method based on immunodiffusion for the demonstration of gastric carcinomatous secretion from a single gastric juice specimen is evolved by purifying and concentrating the secretion product of gastric cancer cells. The material used as antigen belongs to the sulphomucoprotein group, and some of its chemical and physiochemical properties are described.
