Abstract
An improved method for Al determination in human serum by atomic absorption spectrophotometry with a graphite furnace is described. Interferences were controlled and total combustion of the samples achieved by the use of new diluent in a Mo-treated graphite tube. The detection limit of this method is 2 .mu.g/l. The association between Al and dialysis dementia is discussed.
