Abstract
[longdash]Histamine and purified lysine (hog) vasopressin do not stimulate the release of ACTH by rat anterior pituitary tissue in vitro. Minute doses (about 0.1 [mu]g) of purified CRF (corticotropin-releasing factor) significantly increase the release of ACTH in such a preparation.Keywords
