Abstract
A description is given of an apparatus which records continuously the respiration and the inspiratory minute volume. The composition of the inspiratory gas mixture can be kept constant, and chosen at will, or changed during the expt. The inspiratory and the expiratory air are completely separated, and the respiration can be recorded without interruption until the entire ventilation amounts to 300 liters. Keywords
