Abstract
Corrosion tendencies of spherical and conventional amalgam surfaces treated in various ways were compared by measuring the spontaneous electric potential. The potential was generally higher for spherical amalgam. Polishing 1-day-old specimens lowered the potential slightly, but it soon rose beyond the original.Keywords
