Abstract
Acute terminal ileitis was for many years thought to be due only to Crohn's disease, though most patients found at laparotomy to have this condition did not progress to the chronic form of Crohn's disease. A case of acute terminal ileitis due to Yersinia pseudotuberculosis is presented here to draw attention to another, perhaps predominant, cause of this condition. Keywords
