Abstract
Mid-shaft sections of 100% silicone (Bardex) and hydrogel-coated latex (Biocath) catheters were subjected to controlled in vitro encrustation conditions for periods of up to 18 weeks. There was no significant difference in the quantities of encrusting deposits formed on these two materials during the course of the experiment.This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
