μ-Atomic Lyman and Balmer Series in Ti, TiO2. and Mn

Abstract
μ-atomic Lyman and Balmer series were observed in Ti, TiO2, and Mn using a large high-resolution Ge(Li) detector. While the relative line intensities are, for the most part, accounted for reasonably well by a cascade model, systematic differences were found in comparing the intensities in TiO2 and Ti. The 2p2s splitting was observed for the first time in muonic atoms.
