Abstract
CO2 exchange by intact attached leaves was studied at 20, 30 and 40C and from 20 to 300 ppm CO2 using an infrared gas analyzer. Respiration during photosynthesis was evidently about 3.3 times greater than in darkness. High temperature inhibition of apparent photosynthesis was markedly greater at simulated high altitude than at sea level.
