A PRECISION THERMOSTAT FOR TEMPERATURES FROM −25° C to 500° C

Abstract

Two thermostat vessels with different bath fluids are necessary to give the temp, range. The details of their construction are described. Temp. has been automatically regulated between 30[degree] and 480[degree] C. for 1-2 hrs., and for as long as 8 hrs. with infrequent adjustments. The temp. variation was [plus or minus] .001[degree] C. Performance below room temp. was not tested.
