Abstract
Presentation of Case First admission. A 62-year-old man was admitted to the hospital because of a question of subarachnoid hemorrhage.He was in excellent health until the evening of admission, when he experienced the sudden onset of a frontal headache that radiated to the nuchal area and was accompanied by vomiting. He was taken to another hospital, where he was observed to be somnolent but periodically agitated. The blood pressure was 170/ 100 mm Hg. The neck was supple. The optic fundi appeared normal. He moved the left extremities less well than the right, and there was a questionable . . .
