Abstract

The reaction of (Me₃Si)₂CHPCl₂ or (Me₃Si)₃CPCl₂ with (2,4,6-Bu^t ₃C₆H₂)PH₂ in the presence of DBU (1,5-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-5-ene) affords the unsymmetrical diphosphene, (Me₃Si)₂CHPP(2,4,6-Bu^t ₃C₆H₂).
