IMMUNOFLUORESCENT LOCALIZATION OF TWO DEHYDROGENASES IN HONEYBEE FLIGHT MUSCLE

Abstract

Two enzymes involved in energy metabolism, glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenase and triosephosphate dehydrogenase, were localized in honeybee flight muscle with immunofluorescent techniques. Both enzymes were found at or near the Z-band cross-striations.
