Free radical substitution in aliphatic compounds. Part 17.—Reaction of trichloromethyl radicals with 1-fluorobutane and 1,1,l trifluoropentane

Abstract

Trichloromethyl radicals have been allowed to react with 1-fluorobutane and 1,1,1-trifluoropentane in the gas phase. Arrhenius parameters have been obtained for the attack at each individual site in these molecules.
