Medium effect. Adsorption of N-methylformamide (NMF) at the Hg electrode from H2O + NMF + NaCl solutions

Abstract

The adsorption of NMF from H₂O + NMF + NaCl solutions has been studied in two series of experiments, one in which µNaCl was kept constant over the whole H₂O + NMF composition range and another in which constant concentration of NaCl was maintained. The results are compared and the medium effect discussed.
