Abstract
The vitamin A activity of carotene was not accompanied by the absorption band at 328 mu., which has been attributed to vitamin A of cod-liver oils. It is suggested that either vitamin A may exist in 2 forms, or that carotene behaves as provitamin A.This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
