ADVANCED, RECURRENT AND/OR UNUSUAL METASTASES IN CHILDHOOD MALIGNANCIES

Abstract
From the over-all experience of the Department of Radiation Therapy, Children’s Hospital Medical Center, we have selected 9 patients with various types of malignancy. In each case, a persistent approach to metastatic disease, using irradiation as one modality, but also chemotherapy and surgery, has achieved long-term survival. We have not attempted to relate these isolated cases to our over-all results.
