Abstract
Dog pancreatic juice and extracts of hog pancreas contain elastase in inactive form. Trypsin or a duodenal factor is capable of activating pro-elastase. Since the activation is blocked by pancreatic and soybean trypsin inhibitors, the duodenal factor may be enterokinase. Keywords
