Abstract
Details of sample preparation of Y-Ba-Cu oxides with superconducting transition temperatures well above the boiling point of liquid nitrogen are reported. The mid-point of the resistive transition is at 92.6 K , and the zero-resistance state is maintained up to 83.3 K. The ac susceptibility and the infrared spectra of superconductive Y-Ba-Cu oxides are also presented. Keywords
