Abstract
The barrriers to nitrogen inversion in N-methyl-, N-methyl-2,2-dimethyl-, and N-isopropyl-2,2-dimethyl-aziridine have been studied in the gas phase and in a variety of solvents. The barrier is found to be almost the same in the gas phase and in C6D12 solution. Solvent effects are discussed. Some small coupling constants have been determined by double irradiation.
