Abstract
Five insecticides were applied topically to the German cockroach. Temps. were regulated to 14, 22 and 32[degree]C and the relative humidity varied between 75-85%. The insects were acclimated for 24 hrs. before treatment, removed and treated within 15 min., and replaced in the constant temp. chamber for 120 hrs. DDT, pyrethrum, and lindane were more effective at the lower temps, aldrin and dieldrin at the higher temps.
