Abstract
Nineteen different substrates were used on a variety of tissues at pH 5, 7 and 9. In any given tissue the characteristic pattern of distribution of enzymatic activity was the same, regardless of substrate used, except in the case of p-chloranilidophosfonic acid which in the acid range produced unique patterns. Keywords
