Abstract

2 experiments are conducted to explore the relationship between strong ego and weak ego Ss and the recall of uninterrupted vs. completed tasks. The results confirm an earlier finding that strong ego Ss recall significantly more completed tasks as the experiment conditions become more threatening to self-esteem; "weak ego subjects, interrupted tasks." 29 references.
