Abstract
The renormalisation-group approach of Reynolds et al. (1977, 1978) is generalised. The generalisation enables one to go beyond the single-cell approximation. A two-cell approximation is considered. Also a new renormalisation-group approach is suggested and illustrated with a few simple examples. Keywords
