Abstract
We report the conditions under which it is possible to record the complete spontaneous Raman spectrum of a sample excited by a single ultra‐short laser pulse. A method for exciting such spectra is described; it uses cylindrical lens focusing of the laser and enables us to get the same amount of Raman signal from much lower energy densities. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
