Abstract
A framework of 19 gravity reference stations was established in New Zealand during 1947 and 1948 using the Cambridge pendulum apparatus. The gravity values, relative to Cambridge University (England) as 981 265.0 milligals, were obtained by swinging the six pendulums at Cambridge before and after the New Zealand observations were made.
