Data of a 60Ni(α, α') 60Ni* reaction was analyzed in terms of the coupled-channel calculations. Good agreement with experimental scattering cross sections was obtained, and from such an agreement spectroscopic informations on 60Ni were derived. These informations turned out to be in good accord with what sere derived from a similar analysis of a 60Ni(d, d') 60Ni* data.
