Abstract
Extract Toxoplasmosis is one of the most prevalent infections of man and animals throughout the world. Serological and skin-test surveys have revealed its presence on all continents except Antarctica. It has been reported in representatives of every order of mammal, in a number of birds, and even in reptiles. Among these species of animals the prevalence figures vary considerably, and there are also large geographical variations. These are important epidemiologically, as will be mentioned later in this paper.
