The larvicidal principles of garlic, Allium sativum L.,have been isolated and identified as diallyl disulfide and diallyl trisulfide. Both natural and synthetic samples of these larvicides are fatal at 5 parts per million to Culex pipiens quinquefasciatus Say.Keywords
