Abstract
Patients (14) with hay fever were treated with one i.m. injection of methylprednisolone acetate, which gave satisfactory symptomatic relief for 3 wk. Their hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal function was moderately but significantly suppressed for 3 wk but normalized after 4 wk.
