Abstract
Two factors were found responsible for tremendous reductions of ascorbic acid in endocrines and tissues: (a), vit. B1 deficiency and (b), thyrotoxicosis. Adm. of vit. B1 and vit. C counteracted to a large extent such ascorbic acid losses in the body of the rat. A vit. relationship is established by the fact that a vit. B1 deficiency influences a marked reduction of vit. C.
