Intestinal Protozoa found during acute intestinal conditions amongst members of the Egyptian Expeditionary Force, 1916—1917

Abstract

In the summer of 1916, during the advance across Sinai, the prevalence of amoebic dysentery amongst our troops occasioned the appointment of a Protozoologist to the Field Laboratories. While I was engaged in this capacity the work recorded in this paper was carried out.
