Abstract
The morphology of isotactic polypropylene in molded plaques containing a knit line is described in detail. The effects of mold temperature and flow on the size and orientation of spherulitic and transcrystalline regions are discussed. Deformation at the weld line under uniaxial tensile stress is analyzed by optical microscopy. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
