Abstract
A precision method has been devised to measure nuclear reaction voltages, and equipment has been built capable of measuring reaction energies of charged heavy particles in the Mev range with accuracies of ∼0.1 percent. Limitations of the operation are discussed and the possibility of a direct determination of the electronic charge-to-mass ratio and related fundamental constants is pointed out. To verify the conclusions reached, test runs have been carried out with electron beams, and performance was as expected. Keywords
