Grouped Female Mice: Demonstration of Pseudopregnancy

Abstract
Adult white Swiss female mice were housed in large groups (20 females/cage) to suppress estrous cycles (anestrus; Whitten, 1959). After suppression of cycles was observed, the females were examined for evidence of anestrus, and to fully characterize the period of prolonged diestrus resulting from the grouping stimulus.This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
