Abstract
The growth and multiplication of Plasmodium falciparum was compared in static thin layer cultures and in suspension culture. Suspension cultures yielded approximately twice the amount of malaria parasites and there was no indication that this method is deleterious. It should therefore be easier to increase the amounts of malaria obtained from culture by using appropriate fermentation technology. This publication has 20 references indexed in Scilit:
