Abstract
The oxidation of oxalate, oxaloacetate, keto-malonate and dihydroxytartrate by O2 is catalyzed by peroxidase systems in presence of Mn++. It is suggested that these oxidations and that of dihydroxymaleate in presence of peroxidase systems and M++ involves the oxidation of Mn++.Keywords
