Hyperfine Structure in the2P2State of Atomic Lithium

Abstract

Calculations by two different theoretical methods are in good agreement with each other and with available experimental data on hyperfine splitting and Zeeman level crossing of $2{}_{}{}^2{}_{}{}^{}P$ lithium. These results show unequivocally that the contact, spin-dipolar, and orbital hyperfine interactions must be described by three independent parameters.
