Abstract
The data on bilateral differences in electro-encephalograms of identical twins indicate that identical twins are more similar than unrelated children only when treated as a group. The recorded potentials of identical twins may differ in that there is a tendency for one twin to show bilateral differences which are the reverse of those found in the other twin. Also, in most cases, one twin of the pair shows a significantly larger bilateral difference between right and left homologous brain areas. There is a tendency for the non-dominant side of the head according to behavioral indices to have a greater amt. and amplitude of a activity in the electro-encephalogram.Keywords
